Granit Funds has recruited Ulf Erlandsson. Ulf has a solid academic and practical experience in macroeconomics with a focus on the credit markets. He comes from AP4 and the role of senior portfolio manager in the global macro asset management group. Prior to that, he worked as a quantitative credit strategist at Barclays Capital in London. Ulf has 21 years of experience in the academic and fund management world.
Ulf holds a PHD in economics from Lunds University. He has written several books and articles within his area of expertise. The latest article "Credit Alpha and CO2 Reduction" has attracted international attention for its unique linking of alpha strategies and reducing the carbon footprint in corporate bond portfolios.
Ulf will act as Head of Fixed Income at Granit Fonder starting in August. We expect to launch a new hedge fund in 2017 with a focus on climate change and green bonds, which Ulf will manage.
